DDM Town recruits CEO Lee Kyung-hee...'Co-representative system with CEO Song Ho-jun'

[Business Korea = Reporter Choi Moon-hee] The metaverse platform of the Dongdaemun Merchants Cooperative, DDMTOWN, announced on the 16th that it would reorganize its organization from the existing representative system of Ho-Jun Song to the system of joint representatives Ho-Jun Song and Kyung-Hee Lee.

After graduating from Massey University in New Zealand, UUNZ Institute of Business (New Zealand) and USQ (University of Southern Queensland) in Australia, Song Ho-Jun is a fashion and distribution expert who has been operating 2Wenny Six, a jeans wholesaler in Dongdaemun since 2012, in both online and offline markets. He has also led the overall business from the initial planning to the present as the CEO of the metaverse platform DM Town.

New co-CEO Lee Kyung-hee graduated from Soongui Women's University's Fashion Design Department, and after graduating from Seoul Mode Fashion College and Rasara Fashion Design School, he has been working in the fashion industry in Korea and China for 17 years. She started with Samiel Apparel in 2005, served as the general design director of Ramstree Co., Ltd. from 2015, and has served as the CEO of Titi Holic from 2021.

DDMTOWN expects to create synergy by combining CEO Lee Kyung-hee's know-how in the fashion industry and Song Ho-jun's online experience and management leadership.

The two co-representatives said, “With the determination to represent the Dongdaemun merchants, we will introduce a new Dongdaemun market expressed in metaverse to revitalize the Dongdaemun market.”

Meanwhile, DDMTOWN is the first metaverse platform in Dongdaemun that implemented Dongdaemun as a mirror world, and is about to release a beta version in June.
