Dongdaemun Merchants Cooperative, Selected as a Subscription Economy for Small Businesses

Dongdaemun Merchants Cooperative announced that 'Titiholic', a central integrated distribution platform operated by the cooperative, was finally selected for the 'small business subscription economy support project' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Small and Medium Business Distribution Center).

TTHOLIC is a platform launched by the Dongdaemun Merchants Cooperative Association in September last year, directly distributing excellent wholesale products in Dongdaemun, and plans to gradually expand its category, starting with women's fashion.

Titiholic applies a ‘subscription’ economy to support producers and consumers alike to enjoy the benefits. If TTPASS, the Titiholic subscription economy system, is applied, consumers will receive an unlimited 30% discount on all products.

The subscription economy is a distribution service in which goods or services are regularly provided by paying a certain amount. Consumers can save time in choosing products, and sellers can generate regular sales to promote stable operation.

Yang Chun-gil, chairman of the Dongdaemun Merchants Cooperative Association, said, “The Dongdaemun Merchants Cooperative’s distribution platform Tti Holic has been supported by the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center, giving Dongdaemun small business owners an opportunity to enter the subscription economy market. We expect to accelerate,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Dongdaemun Merchants Cooperative, which consists of 180 Dongdaemun shopping malls, is planning to launch not only the subscription economy but also the Dongdaemun metaverse platform DDMTOWN in June.
